Child recovers from critical injuries caused by fiery car accident

The Memphis Police Department in Tennessee has reported that a child who has sustained critical injuries during a fiery car accident is no longer in critical condition. The accident occurred at the intersection of Kirby and Winchester at around 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 30.

The police department was not able to provide specific details as to what caused the accident and what happened during the incident. It is known that three vehicles collided and two caught fire, with passengers still trapped inside.

A police officer responded to the accident and cut the seatbelt of a passenger – a child who was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital for treatment of her critical injuries.
