A child born into a quickly changing world, John Michael Bailey was a witness to the assassination of JFK, MLK and RFK, the civil rights movement, the antiwar protests, the Watergate investigation which led to the resignation of a sitting president. As such, John Michael witnessed firsthand the effects of discrimination, racism and oppression and bullying by both the government and big corporations. What John saw felt and experienced left an unquenchable fire and a determination to fight back. To fight back against racism, to fight back against religious discrimination, to fight back against oppression, to fight back against bullies. Fighting back is who John Michael is and what he is all about. From the bullies who waited for him at the bus stop when he was five years old to the billion-dollar insurance firms, Trucking Companies, and the government, they have all learned one thing about John Michael and his firm and that is WE-FIGHT.
John Michael was not born into a rich family and worked his way through college and law school and knows what it’s like to swing a hammer to make a check. He had excellent grades in college and entered law school at age 21. While in his second year of Law School John represented Vietnam Veterans in administrative hearings and practiced law under special license his third year of law school. John has been representing people and fighting for them his entire adult life, beginning at age 22. When John Michael was 24 he opened his firm and has been fighting back for his clients 24/7/365.
He has tried hundreds of cases over the 45 years he has been representing people ranging from Murder to Wrongful Death cases. Since 1996 John Michael has focused solely on representing injured people and fighting to make sure they are treated fairly and justly compensated for the harms and the losses inflicted upon them through no fault of their own. John Michael considers these fights his mission in life and has dedicated his life and resources to those who have been harmed by others.

He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Mississippi and admitted to the Federal Courts in the 6th Federal Circuit and as well in the 5th Federal Circuit. The firm has offices in both Memphis, Tennessee, and Tupelo, Mississippi.
