The Soddy-Daisy Police Department in Hamilton County, Tennessee has reported that one individual lost his life while another incurred serious injuries in a single vehicular accident that occurred before the Harrison Lane exit along Highway 27 at around 10 p.m. on Friday, July 8.

Both occupants – the passenger and the driver – were ejected from the vehicle and thrown into the roadway.

One individual was declared dead at the scene of the accident while the other was taken to a local hospital by the Hamilton County Emergency Services personnel. Both victims’ names had not been released to the public.

The matter is currently being investigated by members of the Soddy-Daisy Police Department to determine what caused the accident in the first place.
